As former Bosch service agent specialists, trained in various Bosch systems including D-Jetronic, K-Jetronic, KE-, L-, LE-, LH-, and Mono-Jetronic, we have acquired in-depth expertise. In fact, in 1973, Steve McHale became the first Bosch Service Master Technician (Gold Standard), actively exchanging data with Porsche HQ Reading for many years, setting the bar high for our team.

Our workshop is fully equipped with Bosch Motronic Testers featuring a multimeter, oscilloscope, gas metre, and an extensive collection of original Porsche microfiche guides. This comprehensive Porsche workshop library is possibly one of the most extensive in the UK. Equipped to handle all aspects of servicing, maintenance, and tuning for classic Porsches, with their knowledge of both older diagnostic tools and the skills to utilise them effectively, our expert Porsche technicians can diagnose and resolve issues for any classic air-cooled and water-cooled Porsche.

It is important to note that the evaluation of required parts can only be accurately determined once the engine is stripped, thoroughly cleaned, and meticulously measured. While the labour required for these rebuilds can be more predictable, we always strive to provide you with honest estimates from the start. A classic Porsche engine rebuilt by JZM Mobile, when driven responsibly and given proper care, can easily last another 100,000 miles or more. A testament to our expertise and dedication is the remarkable achievement of rebuilding a Carrera 3.2 Coupe engine with an astonishing 680,000 kilometres (422,000 miles) on the clock. To put it into perspective, that’s equivalent to travelling straight around the world approximately 17.6 times. The owner of this extraordinary Porsche drove an impressive 10,000 kilometres per month and diligently had it serviced by Porsche every 6 weeks. With the skilled hands of revered Porsche guru Manfred Freisinger restoring the car and our expertise in engine and gearbox rebuilds, we were able to deliver a perfectly restored Porsche with matching numbers that drives as smoothly as if it were brand new.
